| All advocates and solicitors of the High Court of Malaya practising within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur shall be deemed to be members of the Kuala Lumpur Bar.
Where a firm has a branch in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, all partners of that firm (irrespective of where they are based) must be a member of the Kuala Lumpur Bar.
All advocates and solicitors intending to practise or open a branch office within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur are to give notice of their intention to commence legal practice in Kuala Lumpur and pay their annual subscription to the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee.
