The late Mok Li Za was born on 7 August 1970. She graduated from the University of London (External) in 1995 and obtained her CLP in 1997. She served her pupillage in the firm of Yeo Ainie Rubiah under Margaret Yeo and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 13 April 2001.

The late Mok Li Za practised law in Kuala Lumpur in the firm of YM Chin & Lee until her demise on 2 March 2005. She is greatly missed by her family and friends.
