As part of its Professional Development Programme, the PDC is pleased to present the above Seminar on an Introduction to the Common Disputes in the Construction Industry and ADR Processes by Mr Belden Premaraj, Ms Shanthi Supramaniam and Mr Adrian See Jooi Hong on Saturday, 25.02.2012 at 10.00am at the KL Bar Auditorium.

About the speakers
Belden Premaraj has and continues to practise in the specialised areas of construction & engineering, oil & gas, energy & utility and general insurance since the very commencement of his practice of law. He has accordingly built a strong understanding of these specialised industries and its practices. He continually engages with key domestic and foreign entities in the related industries for the development of risk management and dispute resolution strategies. Belden enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for the practical and legal aspects of his core practice areas with those around him. A powerful orator, Belden is regularly called upon to speak at various conferences. He has published numerous papers and conducts many in-house and public, training and workshops.
Shanthi Supramaniam graduated from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to practise at both the Singapore and Malaysian bars. She spent her early years of practice in Singapore where she handled litigation and corporate work for her clients. She has advised on cross-border litigation issues involving contracts and legal risks with aspects of Chinese, Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Singapore, Japanese and BVI laws. Shanthi has written papers on construction-related legal issues, conducts training sessions for her clients' project teams and is a regular speaker at legal conferences and seminars.
Adrian See Jooi Hong has been practising in areas of construction & engineering, oil & gas and energy & utilities since being called to the Bar. He has participated in the Philip C. Jessup Mooting Competition and the Asian Law Students' Association debating tournament 2007, where he harnessed a sound oratory ability.
