PS : If you are under 42 kg in weight, on antibiotics and/or steroids (hypertension, diabetic, cardiac and asthmatic cases) you will have to give this Blood Donation Drive a miss. Please seek medical advice if you have any other illness. If in doubt, we will have staff from the National Blood Bank to advise you. Ladies during menstruation and who are breastfeeding will also have to give this Blood Donation Drive a miss.
  
We have been advised by the National Blood Bank that those who had lived in UK between 1980 and 1996 and in Europe from 1980 till to date too are not allowed to donate blood unless they were "vegetarians". 
 
Refreshments, vitamins and iron tablets will be provided after the donation.
