The Kuala Lumpur Bar Young Lawyers Committe is pleased to announce that we will be organising our 8th consecutive Charity Night themed “Charity Night 2012: Light Up Their Home”.

 

As you may be aware, the KL Bar Young Lawyers Committee organises a Charity Night each year to raise funds for worthy social causes. Charity Night 2012 will be held on 12th October 2012 at Neverland Club, Jalan Kia Peng, and will feature performances by young lawyers competing to raise the most funds for charity. 

 

The money raised this year will be in Aid of Project Light a Home. 

 

Project Light a Home aims to provide much needed light to orang asli settlements, many of which do not have access to electricity. The bulbs cost around RM40 each and each home will require around 2-3 of these bulbs, so to 'Light a Home' it would be around RM120.

 

We seek your kind support for this event. Tickets are at RM20 each (drinks are on a buy-your-own-basis). Donations in the form of cash or kind will also be most appreciated. Click here for the sponsorship reply letter.
