Mr Perry Tan Teck Meng, LL.B (Hons.) London, CLP, Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, completed his law studies at the University of London in 1993. He was an in-house counsel for Proselect (M) Sdn. Bhd. before embarking on his journey as a practising lawyer. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in the year 2005.
A kind, loving man, the late Perry Tan was always cheerful and optimistic about life. His passion was his career and he dedicated most of his life to being the best he could be. He was generous with his legal knowledge and would often help those in need. Such were his humbleness and sincerity that have touched upon the hopeful.
Perry is survived by his wife, son, parents, siblings and relatives. His student, Rachel Yap Yen Siang, who was inspired by him both in law and in life, will continue his firm, Messrs Perry & Co.
Although he is no longer here with us, all who knew and loved him will dearly miss him. Perry has been and will always remain a true hero in our hearts.
